I know this was a bad idea to update with d can cable ccc on 2003 reg e60, after the 7hours of updating when I'm pretty sure it reached 100% winkfp just throw an error and ccc unit keeps rebooting. tried disconnect the battery, reseting by pressing eject and power buttons with no luck. The question now is there a way to start update again? inpa, ncs and winkfp shows errors and cannot connect with the unit. I read somewhere that it might be worth trying tool32 ? how to use that?

Any chances to fix it with the same kdcan cable and software (inpa/ncs/tool32/winkfp) which came with it?

At first I would try with icom ISTA P and if It will not help try rescue cd(on this forum)

Reason is that I don't have ista p or icom. I have downloaded all three rescue disks from here, and they didn't work for me. I could hear them spinning but nothing happened. i don't know my unit hw. there isn't number on the sticker. Probably because its one of the first units car was made in early 2003 according some parts of the vehicle. first time registered 09/2003. ista p I think is replacement for sss progman. unfortunately this never worked for me because of some errors related with my cable.

Ok so I'm first time with ista p ever, and from what I understand. It shows red dot near GW module which says that unit must be replaced. Can anyone write me what steps I need to make in ista p in order to attempt to fix it? Thanks

Too old hardware.
Take any e70 with new HW, and make E60 from it.

I ordered second hand one (09/2008) which works, but unfortunately there is no sound coming from the unit, or pdc, or any warning sounds. my car got logic 7 but tried to setup with ncs all stereo/hifi/top hifi, unit reset, disconnect battery, blank trc file. inpa wont show any errors. tried to activate sound using inpa no sound on ccc, but on amplifier speakers work. what else I can try?

Code them with ncs to default in this order: cgate >chost >caud>ctune>cappl
