I also got the finished with warnings after the egs flash. Everything was fine on the car though. It didn’t give this warning when using older versions of software before ista 62.5. |

RE: BMW M4 GTS Trans Flash
Is it possible to just change the Typekey, then calculate SVT_SOLL and the SVT_TAL and to flash EGS directly like i would just update any other ECU of the car with OEM FA or is it not possible/safe and i should calculate SVT_SOLL, SVT_TAL, then look which SWFL is chosen for GTS and manually inject it to my OEM SVT_TAL?

That sounds like the same thing. Though, I load modified FA and let E-sys do the work in calculation; plus, I use same FA for processing. Alternatively, I only edit TAL if older firmware and not working. Either way, it should complete. |

RE: BMW M4 GTS Trans Flash
Has anyone ever experienced a problem with tycode 4S91? After flashing it doesn´t work, also it´s showing the wrong swfl, if I remember correctly. You couldn´t switch to D. Flashing back to stock was no problem. Did I do something wrong?

You couldn´t switch to D. Flashing back to stock was no problem. Did I do something wrong? I had the same problem today, with typecode 4S93 (US). It flashed the EGS4 btld and swfl. but finished with warning on the btld. it was taking too much time at 99%. After the complete flash there were no errors in P,R or N, but as soon as you put in D nothing is shown on the cluster and an EGS error pops up. Flashing back to stock worked, but still that btld error. The car itself has no errors. What causes this btld error and why is the error when putting the car in D?
