Hi guys, im new to key producing and want a little help from experienced users. Vw Beetle 2001 sometime start sometime not, and i have key fault error. i have zed bull clone and a new id48 glass transponder. is it possible just to read id48 from original key and write it to new transponder and car start ? it is locked Magic I type 48 crypt megamos. if i unlock, it becomes unusable ?

Zedbull clone can not clone ID48. it can only read but can not write. you either need original zedbull or some other original cloner like silca rw4 and tm pro.

I am not 100% certain but may likely program it. I read the pincode and program my golf mk iv with vag tacho 409. vcds will also do that if you have pin code.

Do you read pincode from obd or opened the dash. my vagtacho reads the code but im not sure it is correct

you can do it with both sbb or vagtacho.... do it with sbb it;s faster
first you should go to pin code service to read the pin code.....
then after go to immo and program the key.... you should program the 2 keys together...old and new ...if you need more info you can ask
