Hi got bmw f10 and e-sys and ista-d and ista-p installed when i open e-sys zgw search is blank but esys will connect via vin and i can do coding but zgw blank and ista-d wont connect via enet cable and when i open ista-p loader zgw is blank so i cant go any further on ista-p.
everything is installed correctly and im using windows 7 32 bit no vmware and esys works but zgw blank and istad or istap wont connect, firewall is off and dont know what is wrong if anyone could help

Try this:
Launch "C:\EDIABAS\Hardware\ENET\ZGW_SEARCH.exe" to verify that the cable and the connection are working.
ZGW_SEARCH.exe works intermittently on 64-Bit Windows. It is not necessarily a problem if the ZGW_SEARCH window is blank as long as the computer is wired to a network adapter and it shows an IP Address assigned to the computer from the car.

Ok but then when I open ista-p loader it opens zgw and loader asks for IP address but zgw is blank do istap is not working and ista-d won't connect either even though e-sys seems to be working fine but can't solve the other problems

Some F series ISTA-D, ISTA-P or ESYS not communication with vehicle after replaced ZGW or FEM.
Here are the few steps may help for your ZGW.
1. You need to write/record the vehicle I-level before replace replace the ZGW.
2. You need VO.
3. Open ESYS, enter I-level and select series.
4. ESYS open enter VIN “last 7” and load VO.
5. Only select ZGW and program it.
After the ZGW successfully programmed, end the session. Now you able to program with ISTA-D, ISTA-P or ESYS.

had the same problem. I solved that, after which I EDIABAS.INI file. Since I have found that there were completely different values for EXthernet Controlport and Diagnosticport. I can not say why it was changed. There was 52202 port. After changing it back to 6811 and 6801, it works great again ...
