Hi folks.

I did a mercedes w211 2008 mileage correction, but then a dpf error came. and i couldnt erase it with digiprog.

can I do something to prevent the dpf error? (because i can't reset it)
maybe put a can filter behind tacho?

or maybe dpf off? (only software adjustment)

I know. but I don't have nothing cheap for it.. it's not for me, but for a customer who needs it to do on his car.. (change mileage every week)

Be careful as I know of a W212 that burnt down after mileage correction - after this car had DPF fault and after 2 days it caught fire.

I would suggest to adapt DPF as a replacement, then regenerate.

Filter regeneration can happen to the workshop or on the road. Problem with your car is that you dont actually know if it needs regeneration or if DPF has problem. If you are sure that car has no problem with dpf put it on the road and drive with high rpm for about 20 minutes.Sometimes the light comes off. But do this only of you are 100% sure that car has no problem with dpf. You can not do diagnose or delete dtcs with digiprog. Better use MB Star for this kind of cars

for all MB W211 chasis you can not solve the problem when mileage are change it !
the only one solution are to reset/replace dpf value with Star !
ecu it keep history of mileage and it compare with IKE and EZS,also service interval are stored in ecu,how many regeneration was before,mileage from last regeneration and more....
