Lost window roll up and down after 58.3 update
I have updated all ecu's to 58.3 on my F20, it all went reasonably well except I got an error on a couple regarding svk ist does not match etc. So I thought, wrong I-Level selected on TAL calculation. Does not appear to be the case. The problem seems to be the FEM_BODY ecu.
Even though everything is coded for Windows up and down of key fob, it does not operate. Everything is set right I think, KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_FB is active. KOMFORTSCHLIESSUNG_PA active. KOMFORTOEFFNUNG_FB active. Windows do not operate from Fob. I'm at a loss with this. Don't know what has changed to stop this function, any help appreciated, thanks. |

Did you do the upgrade with E-Sys or ISTA?

Lost window roll up and down after 58.3 update
I did it with ESYS 3.27.1 and 58.3.
I did use tokenmasters launcher for coding Windows after trying the fob and it didn't work. Since then I've tried vo coding the FEM_BODY with previous FA loaded up in ESYS. By right clicking ECU tree in ESYS. Still nothing, I've tried disabling and enabling functions which relate to Windows mirrors etc including comfort access ones. Still no success, it's got me !!!. Thanks for reply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Lost window roll up and down after 58.3 update
No I didn't use that, not got ISTA/D on my laptop at the minute, I will install and try that.
However I have updated firmware numerous times before with either ISTA/P and ESYS and never had this issue, only seems to be on 58.3 I have had this. But that looks to be worth trying, thanks for the info. |

Thinking back after I finished updating the passenger Window would not drop to open or close door. It stayed fully up as if when the battery is disconnected. So this may be the case. I hope so. Lost window roll up and down after 58.3 update
OK so I installed ISTA/D and carried out :-
Power Windows: Initialise Power window drive: in Rheingold, follow the initialise procedure in "Vehicle Management > Service function > Body > Locking and security functions" I initialised front drivers and passengers door Windows, then initialised both at once. Still no change. Fob does not work rolling Windows up or down. Not sure where to go with this now. |
