But is 60ah enough for 7 series.
I've recently programmed a F01 and used easily 60ah.

RE: Which power supply for programming
Iam using powermax 75 amp power supply, scored one on ebay for $80 shipped. Did 16h session on E60 with j2534 and BMW online services, voltages were steady 13.8V at all times. Great little thing. Amazon has them as well as ebay.

RE: Which power supply for programming
I been using a Schumacher INC-700A for the last 3 years doing hundreds of sessions and it has been almost flawless. Bought it off of amazon ($375 usd) and after a year it would all of the sudden click and shut-off, which was quite concerning.

Contacted Schumacher only to find out they do not support this model after 1 year warranty period.

Took it apart and found that the power cord ends were attached using spade connectors, which were loose causing my shut downs. After correcting that issue it has been perfect for last couple of years.
