I am trying to read ECU data from 2007 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI

I believe it should either be a Siemens SID 206 or a Delphy DCM 3.5.

When trying to read with my MPPS V16 I could not read or identify.

When using the FGTech Galletto V54 I could read when selecting the Ford Focus Siemens 206 as shown in the attached image link. Also the attached map was read using this option.

When selecting mondeo DCM 3.5 i dont get the option to 'Read'.

So what am i asking:-

1. Does the attached read look ok? Should I ask for it to be modified and write back using the Focus option?

DCM 3.5 only write in obd
Read only desk. (galetto v54)

Your read data is ok but it is SID206 ECU - not dcm3.5!

You can save the driver for another model if you have experience and ids without fear, but from what you write you should start by making a copy for instance bdm, or outsource it to someone who knows what they are doing

So if my read is ok then I must have a sid 206?

In which case if I wrote back mod file as sid 206 it should be ok?

Delphi 3.5 is only found in mondeo 2010 on. You can read and write using amother model r.e focus as long as you have selected the correct ecu sid206 for example. If unsure look and read the ecu label it's under passage side wheel arch liner
These are the basics which you should be very familiar with before doing this type of work on customer cars being able to identify the correct ecu is a must. I would also not recommended using cheap clone tool's on customers vehicles

Thanks Its my brothers car, I have done about 10 different cars but they have always picked up clearly identifying the ecu with galletto or mpps. This one threw me a bit, il double check ecu and if its sid 206 will just use the focus option.
