Solved -> Mazda 6 GH 2011 (ABS)
Help,
am using Mazda 6 GH 2011, Had to travel out of the country for a few weeks and when I came back the battery was flat dead. So I bought a new battery, installed, and the car starts and is drive-able.....BUT there are warning lights on the dash as below 1) ABS warning light 2) DSC OFF light 3) TSC/DSC light (picture of car sliding around) these lights do not go off at all. I gave a call to the nearest Mazda dealer (about 60 miles away)....and he says the BCM module needs replacement and will cost a lot!. Anyway I was thinking of a complete ECU reset to see if it solves the problem. So how do I do a complete reset? Do I just unplug the battery for 2 hours or 4 hours and plug it back ? (used to work on old mitsubishi engines) or is there another way ? also what do you think is causing the issue ? and how to solve it ? |

RE: Mazda 6 GH 2011
Update - I tried disconnecting the battery for more than 2 hours, and it does not solve the issue.

RE: Mazda 6 GH 2011
You have to check al fuses inside left side. buy a cheap elm adapter dowload Forscan and read the erorr log.

RE: Mazda 6 GH 2011
All lights pertain to ABS , you will find codes in ABS are low battery so traction and stability are turned off . You need to read and delete fault codes

RE: Solved -> Mazda 6 GH 2011 (ABS)
Update, so I tried everything mentioned above and didnt work. In the end scan by VCM and found that front right ABS sensor spoilt. Replace it with new unit and all cluster warning light go away (TCS/ABS/DSC)
