Exit diagnose mode...
Hi every body,
How to exit "diagnose mode" in ecu (IABS on motorcycle) when the programming is aborted or crashing with istaP or istaD? Thanks a lot

The only safe option if programming has already started and then crashed or aborted, you need to resolve the crash or abort reason and repeat programming until successful because else there is no or only a part of program inside ECU. If it crashed before ecu was actually erased, you may try to disconnect battery for a minute and then see it ECU returned back to normal. However if it crashed halfway into bootloader programming, disconnecting the battery will most likely brick that ecu.
Maybe we could help more if you would explain how it crashed. |
