Could I install ODIS-E 6.5.7 then install ODIS-S 3.1.3 on the same PC?OS Win 7 64bit ultimate english.
for ODIS-S 3.1.3 installation,first time was stalled at the procedure "unpacking files...-install4j" for three hours waiting.second time deleted JAVA 8 from control panel.but no work yet.and what's the matter?how to fix it?thx

And new question,How to install KB 3032929?I downloaded it from microsoft.but waiting for one night from "Searching for updates on this computer".KB 2921916 installed ok.same OS Win7 ultimate 64bit SP1.thx

No need install KB 3032929,only installed KB KB 2921916.then ODIS-S 3.1.3 installed ok(went through install4j).

New problem:
1.Every first time re-started the PC then run "ODIS-S" as administrator,it was ok.but shut off the ODIS-S then re-run it again,an error popped-up-"Required Java Runtime 1.7u4 not found"
2.ODIS-E popped-up update window,cancelled it(because didn't know if it was valid).then re-run ODIS-E,same error as "Required Java Runtime 1.7u4 not found".
3.Now,ODIS-E gave error-"Required Java Runtime 1.7u4 not found" every start-up.

So,How to fix it?thx

No need install KB 3032929,only installed KB KB 2921916.then ODIS-S 3.1.3 installed ok(went through install4j).

New problem:

First thanks for your suggestion-"As I know it must install ODIS-S first then ODIS-E".
So uninstalled ODIS-S and ODIS-E,and some folder from C:\,then delete some registers from register Ediator.
Reinstalled ODIS 3.1.3 first.old error was disappeared,but new error for license was appeared sometimes.maybe restarted PC first time it will be ok.restart it error popped again.
When run ODIS from desktop,couldn't launch "Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System 3.1.0 Registration Dialog" windows like first installation,so couldn't re-register.
So what's the matter?how to fix it?or where to find this registration dialog?thx a lot.

I said that as I know its better to install the Odis service first, right?
Well in this case if you uninstall Odis engineer in , erased all the stuff/folders of it then reboot it and if you then try to o install it again this not mean that you already has Odis Service installed and after you will install Odis engineering ????
Anyway I didn't even try to install v3.1.3 and 6.7.5 because fr the moment for me 3.0.3 and 6.6.1 is enoght for me
I can flash it using 6.6.1 w/ VAS5054 and w/ AVDI (using Commander software as well)
So I have not solution for you. Sorry
Maybe a fresh new windows installation and all by scratch will solve your issues

Found a wired problem, now I have ODIS-S 3.0.3 works well on my Win8.1 tablet. And when I update to 3.1.3, it will fail to startup. But in my another notebook with Win7 Pro 32bit, everything goes fine. I think VAG might made some mistake in new 3.1.3, and it could not run on compter without those 2 KBs. But your know, Win8 could never have those 2 KBs, so Win8 is adopted.
