Hi, tried to create VO file for my E46 today to get ISTA/P running but no success.

Can someone help me with this? Vehicle VIN number: WBAEY31040KS41298

In your case somehow the battery size is set inncorrectly. The E word B082 don´t exists. It is just possible B080 (80Ah) , B090 (90Ah) or B110 (110 Ah).
You can find the correct OE code inside NCSExper > Daten > E60 (or other Modellcode) and inside this folder the file E60AT.000.
The E word you can change/correct with NCSEXPER and then programm with ISTA-P.

If you use online ISTA-P you should be able to download original FA from AOS

I discovered that ISTA-P online was asking for the VO because the passthrough device was not working properly. I was using the VXDIAG nano (intended for Ford / Mazda); the passthrough functionality should be universal, but apparantly it is not... I will now look for a (clone of an) ICOM cable. Has a clone of the ICOM the same functionality or is the quality very poor? Is there a possibility to buy them used, and if so, where?
