So, i got it, changed the path with different settings and now programming /measurement plan works

My psdzdata 59.4 folder i copied to C:\Rheingold\PSdZ\data



and i changed istagui path to this

Don't think that is the official way but if it works then all good. Do you have service data now listed?

I believe you must have the programming data from the SDP, it's different to the ISTA-P programming data.

Oh if that works that would be cool just for the fact that it works and I spent countless days earlier this year to no avail... it's also good news that for those of us with newer BMW platforms, psdZs are smaller thanks to your observation and dracon's reply!

Standalone diagnosis works quite good, but i can not make measurement Plan.

Everytime Ista says i have to test the car first, and i have done that several times.
Before i copied complete psdzdata folder from ista p 59.4 to C:\Rheingold\PSdZ\data

Dont know whats wrong, but i only tested with ETH (ignition voltage was not shown ) not with my icom next.
Any ideas?

I'm not sure but in the last versions I had the same Problem with ETH cable. Everything works when I use an ICOM. Try it with your ICOM Next.

Tested it again,ETH still don t work for programming and measurement plan .

I hope that with icom the most ECUs (NBT,Kombi) are possible to flash without router or dhcpsrv like ista p.

I am working on a Launcher based solution to extract the programming data from the SDP packages.

If you open the SDP Full 4.01.15 package with 7zip and take a look inside the FullInstallationDescription.xml, you can see that the data packages from this content are copied to the psdzdata folder (take a look at the file source and targets.) In the Delta file the procedure replace only some files. All files are checked with checksum to verify that the data integrity is valid.

Thanks to pshoey for starting work on creating a launcher solution for the programming data, but in the meantime has anyone found and willing to share the long way to extract and relocate the programming data to the correct directories for ISTA 4?
