Is it possible to check real mileage with ista+ or Inpa and find out if the mile of the car have been changed?

There is no way to check real mileage if mileage correction was perfomed by pro but there is some clues that can you help calculate for example engine runing hours divided by speed average in city , sometimes they forget to clear battery registration history, best methdot go to dealer with key or call with vin

ECU does not have to be removed , but the dashboard always.

Dealer can help only if they have up to date record of the car .

99% of people who offers mileage correction services don't bother spending time on correcting the position of the needles in the cluster after removing them , . Fastest way to tell is by looking at the needles when all is off . Speed and RPM should be set at 0 mark exactly . If you had doubt drive the car with cruise control if fitted , set it at 100km/h and see if the speed needle sits at exact 100 mark .

If you still have doubts , remove the instrument cluster and check the warranty seal if broken or not .

I faced a very strange scenario 3 month back with a car which looked like mileage is reduced , after 2 days of invitations i found out that cluster was replaced by the dealer due to the old cluster speaker was faulty , dealer ordered brand new remanufactured cluster and all needs we out of alignments.

BTW : bmw explorer can show all the service intervals history with mileagerecord so most of the time it helps as people always reset oil service indicator so it doesn't bother them .

from what I know there is also another way to check
all new BMW mileage is also written in CAS or FEM is required emulator installed on CAS or FEM, to interrupt the communication between these ecu with KOMBI, so just open the ECU and discover the surprise
If the work is done in a professional manner They are replaced CAS or FEM with brand new (virgin) so without installing emulator but reading the part numbers should be different with those set in the factory

Check CBS data, how many times was oil change, brake pads change, inspection... From it You can calculate the aprox milage of car! You can modify CBS data, but that almost nobody do .... so in this way pretty good can know the car millage!

What about light module ? On e46 i checked on LCM
