Hi guys please can anyone help me. i have a e91 with water damaged dme msv80, i got hold of a used ecu with cas and keys can starts ok but the other units have different vin so its not letting abs etc work, i have rofar r260 and read the new unit and edited the vin in accii column in two places, all went fine even re-read to be sure, however i put back on car and the vin has gone from the cas,(car still starts) tried reprog again same result, cant see whats going wrong it can only be the way im editing, any help greatly appreciated.

Try to put 0000... instead of vin and relearn with ista p as new module..or clone your donor units with old original files (cas + ecu )

Hmmm..not sure but you can also try reflash cas with win kfp..In this car is dificul anything without ista or other bmw tools(multi tool,explorer,fvdi..etc)if your ista-p not work try dawnload new one from forum it is all here and your yob will be easyer wit this car..

I can clone it for you (if Tricore is still responding). Can you do diagnostics on old one? Otherwise, we can try to disable immo in new one. Friend of me has solution for immo of on msd81 |

now i got an even bigger prob, my cas bricked and wont read properly. can any check the flash dump backup see if it looks ok?
