If your unit uses Telit module you need to replace Telit UC864 from US to E version (UC864-E-AUTO).
As they are rare (alibaba only in sets of 10s as minimum order) or expensie (~400 euro in DE for 1 piece). I skipped it. Why do you need 3G for? |

Without -AUTO module have different socket.
First you need to check if you have AH or Telit module. Look in MMI Update logs for example. |
