I'm a newbie in this Area, editing DDE/DME Files etc. that shouldnt be my Quastion at this Point.

I want to ask how u guys Read the ECU Files from your cars?
What Software do I Need.

My Cars are A Adui A4 Avant B7 8E and A BMW F31 330D.

My intention is to minimize the Turbo Lag of the Audi.

Maybe anyone could help me a bit out.

Reading modifying and writing maps to ecus is not as easy as writing files from pc to usb flashes. Its quiet hard kind of work that needs experience.There are meny diferences between cars and you need many tools to start this job. Audi A4 B7 and BMW F1 are very good and expensive cars for making experiments with remaping. I suggest you to go to a workshop and ask them for reading your maps. Then if you want to try, modify maps and tell guys to write new file back to your car. In this case the responsibility will be yours in case of destroy the car.

I'am not that crazy trying (without any knowledge) to play with a ECU map myself

In th epast i owned a Mini Cooper S and changed the Map against a Tuning Map that was delivered from a good German Tuner.

For the Flash progress there was a specific programm for the Mini.

I want to know what Programm i need the read my ECU Map in order to send the File to a Profi or post it here.

Of Course i dont wan't to xecute my DDE's
