East and West V10 for RNS-310 is available since January
Hello folks,
Currently I'm preparing myself for an RNS-310 maps update, I am searching content and a SD card, I am wondering if it will be possible to change CID for another kind of SD card than samsung evo+ (I have couple of them but both produced in Philippines and both bought after 2016 summer) because I think it may not be a suitable one. But I have good news I figured out there is an v10 update for both East and West (link attached). I only have a couple questions. Would it be possible to change CID for different card (maybe someone tried like a guy with android phone) and someone could post instructions or some useful links. Another one is, would it be possible to use same card for storing music files for the unit as RNS-310 lacks built in storage, in VW website (link attached) it is mentioned that it can, but at the same page I found "Only to be used for one navigation system", what kind of files does it store to SD card so I can not use it in another unit. I have read about problems for people that couldn't use card as navi files were corrupted (I still couldn't check the ones I found).

Can someone help me to change my Cid number from the samsung evo plus sd card.
I have try to change it but it did not work.

i did all what is written in post 1 and then i got the message :ioctl connection time out.
when i looked if the cid was changed it is not.The original number is showed.
I do not know what to do now.
