Big problem is that i CANNOT ENTER GreenMenu again (because i dont have CAR+MENU combination available) so i can mark again "Ignore region and variant" and then flash back good firmware.


Few questions:

1. How to enter GreenMenu again ? I have a friend with ODIS Program. Is there a way to mark "Ignore region and variant" by this or by

thanks for sharing

even if the buttons around central knob are messed up, i can enter the GreenMenu and by swdl i can enable those 2 options in menu.

will give it a try to your idea. currently car has HN+ K0900 (A4 software, the correct one) (and not HN+R K0900), thats what System Information says. Will check also information from Greenmenu and post some pics.

few hours ago i tried to enable some options in RedMenu (update menu ) by manually selecting every option, but in most of the submenus BOOTLOADER option CANT be enabled.

i previously entered MU9498 menu, tried to enable ALL submodules, but as i can remember, 1st option (the Bootloader one) cant be enabled. So i was afraid to kill it and cancelled forced update.

even this b1tch will die i am (psychologically) prepared to have some fun recovering it from the dead.

will have the car back in few hours

tried to update the MU9498 only but as i insert HN+ K0900 (Q5) firmware, and trying to update, software wont find MU9498 unit. it only finds MU9411.

2. Beside ordering components from ebay and making a cable for connection to MMi unit, where can i order one ready to run ?

3. Can it be written as jtag ? Or direct writing a ( dump ) *.bin file to a memory ?

4. in either case, where can i download software ? What format is firmware ?

If cannot write here all info, please link some threads where to get these details.
