PCitroen  Fiat Ulysse 2.2 JTD BSI/ECUcommunication fault
Hello members,
My friend have a Fiat Ulysse 2.2JTD, 2004, with ecu Bosch EDC15C2 and with
Now impossible to start the engine,
..after switching on the ignition or put the battery in the car (the car now is in economy mode), after few seconds the position light automaticly switched on, and the main beam light switched on for few sec and switched off for few second.
After one hour the battery was totally empty..

the symptoms what we find now:
-cannot used on the vehicle the steering control unit COM2000,
-switch on the light, horn , wipers, radio etc. commands-impossible nothing happens
-switches for the windows (front rear)not working,
the child lock button working (relay switching noise is present when i push the child lock button)
After reading the DTS from BSI, we receive four errors:
1.Steering column comms control unit, communication fault
2.AirBag control unit, communication fault
3.Relay plate control unit, communication fault
4.A/C control unit, communication fault
using the diagnostic tools, I can switch on the wipers, also I can move the windows, switch on the steering light..
I replaced the COMM 2000 module, but nothing happens, the fault code are the same..
with Delphi diagnostic tools and software , I can connect and read the BSI
but I cannot read the ecu (EDC15c2) and I cannot connected to Airbag module..
With LEXIA I can connect and read the ECU edc15C2.

if you have any idea please help me to solving this issue.

PCitroen  RE: Fiat Ulysse 2.2 JTD BSI/ECUcommunication fault
Hello members,

The communication problem with BSI solved smile .
After checking the wiring and components on the network, i find the problem which is caused the serious problem with BSI, and caused the battery discharging.
Dismount everything from the network and off course on the end, i want to check and take out the Airbag control unit,
when i open the carpet and plastic cover between the front seats were located the SRS unit i find water inside in this small tube.
When i opened the SRS ecu, I see that the unit was totally damaged,.
Disconnect the SRS unit from network, and also take out the "sensor for transfer acceleration" , after check the connections put back the battery, check and delete the previously errors , on BSI and wooow the engine running. laughing
-very short time of searching the water presenting in SRS ecu, I find the problem, it was the rubber pipe for condensate of Air conditioning unit, located left side on AC command central unit, below the gear shift.

Good night members.
