LMazda  IDS 100.5 programmable param + as built menu enable
I am trying to program different modules on a Mazda 3 BK model using Mazda IDS v100.5 (Cal files v93), but can not seem to get all the programmable parameters to show:

Programmable Module
-> Programmable Parameters -> Car Configuration Paramater(s)
-> AsBuilt

Any ideas?

Whats the vin number

As built data is not shown from IDS you can only putas built data on the ecu trying to recover or replace

I understand that you would like to change paramters in module not reprogram firmware in the module ?

I think modules setting will be in Car Configuration Paramater(s). And modules are coded base on Car Configuration Paramater file into all modules.

Maybe use of Forscan will be also good idea ?

Hi Joe2, thank you for the suggestion.

You are correct, I am trying to do a few things.
1) Disable seat belt reminder after installing a new HEC. PATS is sorted out,
2) Program odometer.

I have not used FORScan on account of being unable to make my clone VCM II work with it. Any idea how to do this?

You need to set up VCMII as J2534 Pass-Thru. In configuration menu it is possible to add it.

Hi Joe.

I managed to get my FORScan going, and programmed the seat belt reminder by programming the As Built code! I am stoked drive

I have no idea where to get the remaining features's decoding from or hot to program the odometer. Do you have any idea perhaps? dontknow

RE: IDS 100.5 programmable param + as built menu enable
Maybe someone on Forscan forum can help about de-coding. Also program owners "perhaps" could help if they have enough time.

One comment, I am naming change of module setting as coding. For new flash (bugs corrections by factory) input into module I am naming as programming.

Not sure what you would like to do exactly : code or program module ?

About programming - I mean hear new program input into module, I am not sure how to get it correctly. If IDS does not have this option, it should be there some special method. For Forscan maybe some dedicated flash files could be needed, not sure. Sorry but never play with programming. I did only programming of flash in module by IDS, when new factory software was avaliable. There is programing module in IDS. But it will update only modules defined/allowed by factory.

Hi Joe2.

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure about difference between CODE and PROGRAM module.
I am trying to edit features, eg: seatbelt reminder disable, key reminder disable, trip computer enable etc.

I tried with ForScan, but I only gives me the option to change the AsBuilt data itself. I do not get a list of the features (seatbelt reminder, key reminder etc). So I do no know how to change it...
