Hello ct... I have an audi a4 2011 with edc17cp20 ecu..can someone tel me about tprot in this ecu I dont have car at home so I need to read/write ecu by obd..Is it posible?here is my file + id thanks advanced..

Hi Alex mate tprot can be switched off by changing some bytes in hex on vag vehicles. First you need a bootmode read, change the bytes then checksum, and bootmode write the file back to the ecu. Only after then can you safely
Read and write by obd.

Audi 2011 is likely to be tprot 10 or higher.

And if the car should ever go back to the main dealer then tprot will be active again ok.

Ok than..I will not risk than by obd...I was hopeing it is early one which can be bypased.. but ok I will do by boot mode ...thanks mate

Yes, best wat is in tricore boot.
You ecu have Tprot V07.0, some interfaces can do in obd, but no all interfaces.
