Isn't framework 3.5 already installed when you install windows?

I have SP1 and the latest updates for windows installed.

Run the installer from my link that i posted below. I have used it several times for years. It installs 99% of all runtimes most users need and its a smart one click installer.

IF that doesn't work, you either have a Anti-virus or rootkit "defender" or similar running. Because those errors are 100% from faulty runtimes/blocked runtimes.

Worst case, read forums and search for an answer and learn the hard way like the rest of us

I'd like to first note that I researched this issue for hours on end and read through nearly every single thread regarding this issue and I still can't resolve it.

I had a working version previously for ISTA-D. I bought a new laptop and formatted it. I install C++ from 2005 - 2015 x86 and x64. I have Java 8 for x86 and x64. Patched Ediabas 7.3.0. .NET Framework 4.6.1 and 4.6.2.

I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate (same version I was on previously). Installed the Microsoft Primary Interoperabilitiy Assemblies 2005.

ISTA-D Standalone 4.01.21 gives me this error:

Failed To Start ISTA. Please Make Sure Your ISTA Configuration is Valid

I made sure to use RCleaner v4.4. I unzipped all the files with the latest version of 7zip.

The version I am trying to work with is 4.02.14.

I even backed up my old version of ISTA-D before I formatted the laptop and it won't work. It was previously working before the format.

I have all the SQliteDB files and they are unblocked.

Here's the error in the log.

I had similar error message, but im not sure if this will help, make sure you are not blocking bmw in hosts file

You are a life saver! This is what fixed my issue. It uninstalled all my C++ framework and reinstalled with the ones provided. ISTA loaded up right away!

open via notepad and delete all from C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

And not forget reputation and help butoon !!!

Yes. Delete those 4 entries. Run notepad as administrator, open the file, delete or comment out lines with #, save.
