Hello all

Corsa c 2005 1.2 z12xep has starting issue will start for 5 secs then cut out.
I have tried pressing dash all the usual fix's but no joy.

Symptoms dash has no spanner light for service it doesn't even come on at
Any point sure it should be on till you start the engine ?
INSP shows 0 in milage LCD and won't let me reset.

Also the following fault codes from dash and bcm
Bcm :B3058 (0) vehicle ID not programmed-present
Also v bus errors U2101 U2103 U2104

Dash : 10 vehicle ID not programmed
13 security code not programmed

also I tried another ecu set but I believe it has exactly the dash issue as would
Not start and INSP showed 0 and no spanner light on this dash also. Tried
Programming vin into bcm but still spits ID not proggrammed code

Any ideas this seems to be a common problem which is probably why there's so many corsa c dashes for sale on eBay.

I Have only ever seen spanner light missing when the immobiliser module (LS MODULE ) was broken

Hmm was missing on old ecu set and missing on new 1 but both immos seem ok they are UN ring on this one I'll try resets like you said hopefully helps
a dump with pin would be handy so I can flash dash


Also do you know about the code indexs ?

Check the CAN System wires from BCM to Dash you have a breakage some where down the line..............

Cheers any ideas on wire colour or number location etc

Check the green and white twisted pair of CAN wires on right hand side chassis leg between ecu and bcm . abs there will be a rotted wire above gearbox at the inner wing / chassis leg

Yes agreed with this follow those two CAN wires or check the continuity of those wire from Engine ECU to BCM to Instrument Cluster.........Where ever you find the brake take some pictures and post them here..........

racing snake tried start with Bcm and ipc reset no difference I also checked wiring between instruments and immo and bcm and they seem fine.

It's gotta be the two can wires as ecu stores incorrect id from bcm and ipc.

fingers crossed I will check in few hours and report back
