Hello all,
Today I decided to start trying to program with ISTA-P. Unfortunaly I ran into the vehicle order import failure. After some googling I found out I could make my own vehicle order and upload it by U-disk. I made the xmldb.xml file but sadly for me ISTA-P told me the provided vehicle order is invalid and cannot be inported... ![]() Can someone help me out here? My short VIN is : LX58560 Many thanks in advance! Vin_Ka |

RE: Vehicle order for ISTA-P
The VP is stored in the car, there is normaly no reason for an import.
Or do you have somethin retrofitted that you need to do this? |

RE: Vehicle order for ISTA-P
I have no idea Munich Simon.
I didnt bought this car new. When I read the car with ista-d it says it cant connect with the airbag module so this could be a retrofitted module perhaps. |

RE: Vehicle order for ISTA-P
Latest ISTA/P and possibly the version before were documented for having trouble importing VO data. You'll have to wait for a fix.

RE: Vehicle order for ISTA-P
I have a little experience with the VO / FA as it is called in German.
The VO gets out of sync if someone BDM into the ECU for code changes. It could get out of sync with the FA coding in Esys if not done right also. The CheckSum 1 is usually the issue if it had a BDM used on it. if you have Tool32 working, you can open the ECU with the correct *.PRG file for your chassis, and find FA_LESEN and this will read the VO. If this fails to read the VO with cannot connect to interface.. the CS1 is messed up. now this what happen in my case and you might have a different problem. |

RE: Vehicle order for ISTA-P
Today I tried to reach the ECU with tool32. this message came up:
Datum: 27.12.16 16:57 ECU: D50M57D0 EDIABAS Fehler 19 : IFH-0009: NO RESPONSE FROM CONTROLUNIT When i want to read the car with inpa or ista-d I have without any problem contact with all modules except the airbag module. I entered the car also with ncsexpert to look for my VO. I saw just 3 modules to choose from 1. EWS 2. KMB 3. KMBI EWS I can open and it gives me some car info like FG, GM, SA and VN and right above it show a Nael-Nr. KMB and KMBI gives me connection errors... |

RE: Vehicle order for ISTA-P
I am really not the right person to help you on car stuff. I am motorcycle.
that response however you got with no response is usually for me a bad CS1 in the eeprom. The ISTA D will still work and seem like all is ok, but, then ISTA P will open and it has issues with programming. On the cars my understanding is the VO / FA is stored in 3 modules. KOMBI is sometimes one of them, and then the EWS is another. do you see the command in Tool32 for FA_LESEN ? Does any of the commands for your ECU respond? usually on mine at least 75% of the commands will work and only the ones with the bad CS1 will show the EDIABAS Fehler 19 : IFH-0009: NO RESPONSE FROM CONTROLUNIT (27-12-2016, 16:49 PM)Vin_Ka Wrote: Today I tried to reach the ECU with tool32. this message came up: |

In that list wich will show up, I see what .PRG I think I need to have acces to the ECU. Is this wrong or do I need to select an .PRG from another module perhaps? Indeed I see the FA_LESEN but when I do that onw EWS the Fehler 19 shows it self. |
