Hi.
I have an MMI 3G HDD.
I upgraded to map version 6.24.2 and software version, K0257_6.

He has done all the right steps.
Maps and software have been updated.
I used the original "@congobg" trigger.
He says that everything is correct.
Made a hard reset to the browser.
When sailing, it works but for a short time, it takes about 2 minutes.
Then a screen that says "navigation data is not activated" appears.

I have activated it with another trigger, "script modified by @darkdll".
Still the same.

Any solution?.

Hello,

I have 2011 A4 Allroad with MMI 3G HIGH.
Software Version is 257_6

Thanks to this forum, I successfully update map version to 6.24.2.
Compare to 6.22.4, the map around my place is really up to date.
New round about or new modified route are corrected now.

Following were my steps.
Remove old map.
Delete the HDD partition.
Install the map version 6.24.2. (it took about three hours).
Then use the Activator for 3G high.
As this Activator method is different from the UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS 1.7,
I was little worried, but it worked out correctly.
It was similar to the 3GP activation method.
First few times, even I insert SD card to SD1 slot after MMI is boot up correctly,
MMI does not recognized script in the SD1, but after some trials, script started.
(Do I need to choose the Navigation mode of MMI to run the script?)
After the update, I verified the error code in VGA-COM. As expected I got
03276 error. Thanks to XOR 51666, the error is cleared.

I have really strange problem when I try to update FW to 942, maybe someone of you had simmiliar situation:

1. I dont know how the previos owner of my car modified it (Keldo’s or Carson’s activator)

2. First I tried to enable Emegrency Update vis script from manual (v. 1.7), but unfortunately - still I dont have a emegrancy update option in green menu: script log: created ".done" file contains only: "done"

3. Second I tried to remove activation via Keldo's uninstaller, but keys are still visible in engineering menu.

4. Next I remove FSC by script - now keys was removed.


The question is - Can I safely perform update from K900 to K942 in above sitiation by standard Enineering Menu?

2. Install Map
3. Use Activator

If your car has Bose, install K0942 in user defined mode in Hidden Menü and uncheck Bose.

- 8R0060884AR ECE 6.15.5

I would like to upgrade FW and maps to latest version:
K942 and 6.24.2,

I have to upgrade one by one:
K612_8/K614_1/K0770/K0783/K0900/K0942?
Bose will work after upgrade?

Firmware K0942 is cumulativ, you can directly update to K0942.
You have to use user defined mode and uncheck all with Bose, otherwise you lost parameter and sound is terrible.
Hidden Menu (Green Menu) must be open.
Check in Hidden Menu swdl-->user defined mode
