XZBMW  Power supply for coding/programming
Hi guys!
I've been looking for a power supply for coding/programming BMWs and i haven't been able to find something for a long time. The ones that bmw recommends(Deutronic DBL 1200 and Eltek multicharger 1500) are way too expensive(around 1200 Euros). I think that i found something as a cheaper replacement. It's made by Telwin and it is called Doctor Charge 130. It has the ability to charge all kinds of batteries and also has a diagnostic mode in which you can set the required voltage. In theory it can deliver up to 120A in power supply/ diagnostic mode. Did anyone hear about this product or has used other Telwin chargers/power supplies for coding or programming? Also i would like to know what do you think about it.
I will add a photo and a txt file with a link of the manufacturers website.
Thanks in advance,
Art D

Power supply for coding/programming
I've used Powermax PMBC-100 and Schumacher INC-70A. You would want to use one that's not automatic charger because when battery is fully charged it may shut off. Both of these provide clean and stable power for flash programming

RE: Power supply for coding/programming
Unfortunately schumacher inc-70a is not available in europe. I will try to search for the powermax pmbc-100 and see if i can get it from somewhere. BTW the charger has a diagnostic mode and a power supply mode that is not used for charging the battery, instead it is used to maintain a certain voltage for programming to my understanding. So I don't think it will shut down in power supply mode.

Then you should be fine. As long as the charger is made for programming/flashing then it should be ok. I've seen others building their own using server power supplies don't have link but if you google you should find it.
