Old DIS only have one language, in this case it is EN. If you want change it you have to use the right install data cd with the right language.

Interesting on this version there is no fister protocol, only one network card in the setup. I remember that in the past the system needs a 64X Ediabas version with IFH service running to talk over API. There are two versions, one for diagnosis with coding disabled and one only for coding and disabled diagnosis. Version on both is Base 44 and Data 52. In my case and only for the bootup test it was working on my desktop raidmachine, but on notebook SSD (as beemerboy told critical) it is very very unstable.

I still have a VM version made some years ago with easydis44 and this one is running stable on the same notebook. If I change the ediabas settings to remote I can connect the old EDIC heads.

I remember that I had one old VMware ISID running were I can connect to the older E36 models, but I cant remember what version it was may be about 2.34 or so.

The idea is good, but the results at the moment are not so good.
May some other members can check it too and give a feedback.
