Anyone got b140 card with 4gigs of ram?

For all:
All evo units with id b140 are 2gb units and they will never function properly with id5/6.
So do not flash them to id5, because you have then a faulty unit randomly rebooting in high detailed navigation maps and it is very hard or nearly impossible to flash back to id4 !!!!
And there will be no fix for 2gb units, because 2gb of ram is not enough for running high detailed evo maps !!!

Furthermore all evo id b209,b240 units have 4gb of ram and can be flashed to id5/6 without any reboots.

id4 comes with apix1, id5 comes with apix2

but not even a single word is displayed only pictures "
I forgot the language 851 in my FA and then this.

Should be ok when you install in car. Someone mentioned here that when not connected to KOMBI this can happen. I have same thing on bench but fine when installed back in car.

I had the same problem too but as soon as it communicated with my KOMBI by connecting to the car, the menu's changed to English.

Are you flashing on the bench?

Hi, yes i flash on the bench. The first flash to 61.1 and totaly empty menue.
Then a downgrade to 60.0 with FA and 851, its works.

The Evo is working.

I'v read all the posts but I can't see confirmation that hw 2.3 b140 units will have issues with upgrade to id5.
Can someone please either cofirm or deny this? Thanks!

I have a friend who bought a HW 2.3 b140 unit and he's going to update it id4 > id5 tomorrow and we are wondering if there is a workaround for this or if he should switch units with someone else?
