BMW e91 CAS 2 milage
Hello,

I have a 2006 e91 with a white cas 2 and a Digiprog 3.
Do I have to change milage in dash or cas module?

RE: BMW e91 CAS 2 milage
You have to change mileage in cas and in dash.
in dash if eeprom is not v6 you can read it and write it with digiprog
but there are many chip 35080 protected and you can not change the first 32 byte .
so you can try to change the value.. if its failed you need a new eeprom or you can try with r270...
for cas2 i you cannot do by obd... you have to read it with xprog or r270... but most cas3 work ok by obd with digiprog
good luck

Thanks!

Digiprog manual says first try change in dash and if it fails, then change in cas 2.

How can I find out, if dash is v6 or not?

RE: BMW e91 CAS 2 milage
Open dash and look at the chip.

you always need to change dash eeprom + cas module.
(most cas3+ 2007-2010 will work by obd with digiprog. but other tools can do more cas3 by obd)
