RE: F20 - Coding problem with DME
Hello together,
I have try everything with the old DME also with Icom Interface... But now is a brand new dme installed, but despite the exchange with ista p does not start the vehicle because the immobilizer reports an error. I have selected in ista p already with the exchange the start values and the coding was successful but I get the message: 1B2002 EWS - No start value programmed The coding of the Variant works perfectly and operating hours are also zero. Someone has already change a control unit at which the same error? Thank you for help Best regards |

RE: F20 - Coding problem with DME
It is an old thread, but still have the same problem. Put an tuningfile (not me) on the DME. After that "1F2108 Variant failed, Incorrect data". Engine starts. And thats the only failure!
I´ve done a update via ISTa+ 4.14.14 (the newest) with no Errors! But still have the failure. Tried to inject the latest CAFD with esys with no luck. Somebody a idea what can be done? Thx |

RE: F20 - Coding problem with DME
Somehow your power class is messed up. You need to set working hours to zero in order to set right powerclass with coding.

RE: F20 - Coding problem with DME
I have no idea how to that on a B38 from 07/2018.... any suggestions?
is this something like a security so you are not able to do any tuning or flashing an other powerclass if you didn´t set the working hours to zero? a friend of me has a lot of tools for such kind of work, he sais he has no access to this eprom where the working hours are saved... Thats not good... |
