We all use icom and ista D,but not esys to code the motorcycle.Can you use esys without getting connection error?

Yes, I posted a screenshot of my connection setting a few posts up. The post you quoted was talking about the e-sys connection setting I use, not ISTA.

hello i try 2014 gs it is ok but when i try to 2017 gs (obd 16pin) esys failed how can i fix it ?

If you use Esys to 2017 GS then you must set ICOM/D-CAN to connect!

I tried a K-DCAN cable but had to buy an ICOM unit.

i try connect to R1200GS K50 (esys), but not successful. ISTA reads correct. i have OEM icom NEXT A and icom d cable from china..i am confused

i  use the right settings .There are two version of ICOM D chinese cable , i have cable1- no connection to esys, cable2 probably works as i read some posts.

what are three connectors on the cable2?
