Hi,

can someone help me? I have a CIC here which was activated (it wasn´t me) with script. I am not able to remove the scipt.

The CIC was with last software C1A ...I flashed 63,62,A0 with winkpf but the script is already running. I have no option to connect via FTP because I have not the "right" USB-Ethernet-Adaptor. I tried with with one from lenovo (USB3.0) without success (I know the IP adress of my CIC). Also did all settings on my laptop to have the same pool and subnet.

So is there no easier way? No script to deactivite like the one to acitvate?

Every CIC has ethernet pins on the quadlock connector.
If the CIC is a retrofit, check if the ethernet pins are connected to the OBD connector(DLC). If not, run those wires and connect them up to DLC.

Then you should be able to use a standard ENET cable to connect to your CIC via FTP.
When connecting via ENET, set your computer to obtain an ip from DHCP (which there isn't so it will get a self-assigned address just like the CIC).

If you're not sure what IP the CIC is on, install and run Wireshark.
Let it sniff for a few minutes after you connect the ENET cable to the OBD port.
Look for Gratious ARP packets with a source address in this form: HARMAN/x_xx.xx.xx. In it's info there will be: gratious ARP packet from 169.254.xxx.xxx, and that's the ip of your CIC.

Oh and if you're ftp'ing into the CIC, make sure the client is set to Binary Mode otherwise there may be some translation errors between the cic and the computer.

As for how to remove the script, i have no idea how that's done but i would like to know that too.
I've never used script activation because in my opinion it's a really bad way to activate the FSC's in the headunit.
In fact it doesn't activate anything, it just creates a blank fsc set every time the device boots which will only work one time as long as the device doesn't reboot hence why it needs to run on every boot. Or so is my understanding of it so somebody correct me if i'm wrong

to solve your problem you need to activate force flash in winkfp and flash 63 , then you can use the patch for custom FSC

first he did a script for virginice the CIC back, and then wrote an archive with my certifcates on it, with that archive on the usb stick, and plug to the CIC, and...

VOILA!!!!

So ... what is more unbelivable, is no need of FSTOOLS to update to the CIC the FSC and certs. Just a file on the usb and everything is working like a charm.

Would it be possible to have a copy of the usb?? I have the patcher from the swtpatcher, but a script that would install the pre-generated fsc would be pretty cool.

Hey all, I've just spent the last few hours reading through this thread and I am left with one question.

My CIC died and I now have a replacement CIC from a donor car. Can I just run the patcher V2 on this new CIC and then just swap my hard drive to this unit? Or would that be too easy and I need to write my own FSC codes?

I don't really know how to go about that, all I have been able to figure out so far is Intel's patcher. I have my old hard drive backed up, but I don't even know where the files are stored yet.

Would I still need to use the patcher and then upload my old FCS's the same way as I would anyways?

If you used patcher, then go for craked FSC’s, you have the “how to” in that thread.

Is fstool working with dcan? What to do ir script not working, my cic doesnt reboot, trried to update firmare, same no luck, nothing happens... any ideas??
