RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
I change it by coding it and flshing it with new VIN, I think is changed. I give up ladt evening because it won't apply patch after flashing, and activated it with script. Another time I will try again.
Anyway many thanks to Intel123 for his work and others that wanted to help. |

RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
I'm having trouble getting FStools to work but I should be able to load the codes with Dr Gini.
My problem is with getting the first signing off process done. Is it possible to sign the codes for an E series Cic using E-sys? I've gone through the process as per the instructions and cant verify the signature. I load the 1B from 03_FSC_Templates, Then I edit the vin number and nothing else. Then I point the Key field to 00_Privatekeys\fscs.der I Click sign and it's ok Validate data and it's ok Validate signature and I get a Failed to write signature C163 warning Instructions say i don't need privatedate\root.der or sig.der. Can these be deleted for tidyness? Where do I use the 02_cert\Root.der? Where am I going wrong? Thanks |

RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
Hi
with many thanks to sebastianfernandes, i managed to upload 17,19 and 1B fscs. as this forum is about sharing, i will post sebastian's instructions which he sent to me. moreover, i have made an Archive with an working FSTool kit - carserver+fstool+ediabas+jre. with this archive, all above fscs have been uploaded into CIC. last but not least -@intel123 - many thanks from my side too for your contribution and the willingness to share. ============================================== Sebastianfernandes's instructions: When you have downloaded dr gini from forum you will have a zip called folder ediabas, and ecu and api32.dll. Extract the contents and copy paste in c:\ediabas and then copy paste C\ediabas\ecu with the contents of Ecu.zip. Do the same for api32.dll file in c:\ediabas\bin. Now install gini. You will see that gini has made a folder called server in C:\ediabas\bin. Copy it's contents and paste in c:\ecapps\carserver. Now it should work without returning error 7009. =============================================== cheers! |
