Just to add some closure, it wound up being that I needed v2.2.0 of FSTool, all set now!

My CIC-Mid is broken (freeze) and I bought a used one. I know the CIC Patcher V2 is not working with Business CIC but I got another Question. 
I know I can also work with a FSC-Repair Kit but nobody was able to help le out with that.

Is the CIC Patcher the same like FTP CIC and Replace the generalPersistenty.....SVTController?
For Example: I can FTP my CIC-MID and if I virginize it my own via FTP, will the method with my own signed certs/fsc work?

PLEASE ...  I have already the CIC  with 17 , 19 ,1B & 9C  cert. accepted  all green ..!!!  But I can get my iPhone connected with the car .. is message  ACTIVATE TRANSFTER DATA ...!!!  I tried wto set the BMW App but doesn't work to 2012 cars ...!!

IDEAS ....???

i have had to replace my old unit as it would no longer come on, so i now need to code/activate the new/used ccc to the car
