(Solved)CCC update failed using K+dcan cable.
Hi folks, Friend of mine did a stupid mistake of updating CCC via k+can cable and it failed after 4-5 hrs of waiting using winkfp.I have attached the error. Then he brought it to me and I hooked up Icom and icomB and tried to update the whole car using Ista-P but 2 modules didn't get update and I think they were BO and CCC- application.Ista-p was saying something prerequisite error on those 2 modules.CCC is stuck at BMW logo.Any help will be greatly appreciated...Thanks.
Update: Ran again ISTA-P session and finally it fixed the problem. |

RE: CCC update failed using K+dcan cable.
To restore it you should either use recover CD or MOST interface(OPPS,ICOM).

Here is the link http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=6978
try with matching recovery cd for your HW version (you can find HW version on the units front sticker). Be patient with it, after it shows you GUI with updating and after it finishes showing you it will go black screen (it will start creating an image) which may take 20-30-40 minutes, even if it seems dead, you need to leave it alone and let it finish. If it fails with recovery CD, it means you need to rework flashes on the mainboard (2 or 4 chips depending on HW)

RE: (Solved)CCC update failed using K+dcan cable.
Update: So i tried running ISTA-P session again and finally it fixed the problem.ISTA-P found 5 modules needed programming in its measures plan. This time it took around 1 hr 40 mins to program and code 5 modules (ASK,ANTTU,MOSTGW,MMI,CCC).
I though of running ISTA-P again because last time when it threw prerequisite error after running the complete update session which lasted around 2 hrs,ISTA-P calculated measure plan again and wanted to run again in the end but i ended the session thinking it would throw the same error again. But then i thought lets try again and it did its magic. Thanks everybody for your replies and help!! |
