EEPROM reader
Hi,
I have a airbag module from a Holden Ve Commodore which I would like to read the crash data and erase. Was wondering what tool and supplier can be recommended for the job? And if anyone knows where the eeprom is located on the circuit board? This module would be maybe somewhat similar to what is used on GM vehicles. It is a bosch unit part number: 0 285 010 763. Hi friend
i think you have a ecu like chevrolet lumina and has a 95160 eprom inside. You can dessolder that,read that with upa,xprog,batronix....universal eprom programmer and post here. Regards |

Hi elbiscuit,
You are right. In other parts of the world it is called chevrolet lumina. I have opened the airbag module and the eeprom has the following numbers printed on it: 95160w3, which I believe is the same. Is there a tool which can read the eeprom without having to remove the chip for the circuit board? In in the remove crash data from my module Thanks |
