Hey guys, A fried of mine replaced his CIC and now Navigation is greyed out.

Navigation is greyed out because the VIN of the repaced CIC is different.
Solution:

Original Activation:
-Virginize CIC
-Put original VIN in CIC
-Load FSC and Certificates (Repair FSC set from asap)

Script Activation:
-Quik and easy but not the best solution.(Mapupdate procedure is different and 9C apps not possible)

Donor VIN:
-Easy but not cheapest due to need of hardware
-Use the original VIN and FSC from CIC
-Need to install canbus emulator

Would try that for sure, but what's the downside on this?
The CIC is newer, so loading the old FSC in is not possible.

9C isn't used anyways. Just Navigation needs to work.

For Navigation to work is Okay.

Dowwnside is 9C apps not possible to activate and map-update is more complicated procedure.

Look the forum for map update script activated CIC and you wil find procedure.

So I put the script to the USB and the display turned red, came online again and Navigation was White for 5 seconds and turned grey again.
What am I missing here?

Didn't help. Still grey.
Putting in the USB doesn't do anything sadly. No reboot, no red screen, nothing.

has the car had before CIC navigation system?
Or is this a retrofit from CCC to CIC or from radio to CIC?

Make sure you have latest software in cic
