Can I do the firmware updates and install the maps without a VCDS (VAG-COM) lead?
I don't have access to the green menu.

Yes U can but u will get 2 faults on 5F infotainment module, doesnt disturb to anything . With VCDS u can remove them with a little bit of patience


Quick question from me, whitch catalogues from set of maps 6.19.3 i can safely remove to put it on 32GB card witch is in deed 29.5GB ?? Thanks

1. Access the car with VCDS and select 5F
2. Select the "Adaptation-10"
3. Read channel 15
4. Read numerical value at the top left (for example 11328) and use function XOR with number 51666
for example : Channel 15 Value: 11328 ^ 51666 = 58770

5. Write the calculated number back in channel 15
6. Finish
