RE: Anyone can help me for mount E-series bench?
Hi all,

I'm looking at getting a bench setup running.

I have:

1: Cas (c4),
2: Key (for above cas)
3: key holder and ribbon lead
4: Start/stop button.
5: elv
6: kombi (cluster)

I have made a loom up and connected them all together and all is working, I get key in ignition on and kombi power on and all lights etc, so far so good.

I have also pickup up a JBR and soldered that in as well.

I have soldered a OBD2 plug in as well and when i connect ista-d it finds the vin of the jbr but nothing else.

I was hoping that the OBD2 plug would give me access to the CAS and JBR and Kombi so i could use NCSexpert, inpa and/or ista-d to see and possible code the modules.

Does anyone have an obd2 pinout for the modules (that connect to it (and pin number) and how to have them connected on the bench. I do not need the pinouts for the modules (that i can get from ista), so of the of the pinout data is not helpful.

I just need the required pins to get the ODB port working with the cas,jbr and kombi.

I have a cic headhunt coming as well (with screen and controller) and would like to"see" them as well.

What i have so far is:

OBD
1: Ignition
2: not connected
3: not connected yet (Ethernet connection to cic pin 37)
4: Gnd
5: Gnd
6: K-bus high (pin 17 on blue 54 pin jbr plug, x14271)
7: I have this connected to pin 30 (PA-BUS) of the CAS (not sure if this is correct???
8: not connected
9: not connected yet (this says F_TD ???????) do not know what this is??
10: not connected
11: not connected yet (Ethernet connection to cic pin 38)
12: not connected yet (Ethernet connection to cic pin 31)
13: not connected yet (Ethernet connection to cic pin 32)
14: K-bus low (pin 33 on blue 54 pin jbr plug, x14271)
15: not connected
16: +12v Batt

JBR x14270

Pin 23 = GND

JBR x14271

Pin 17 = OBD 6
Pin 33 = OBD 33

pin 45 = wakeup (ignition) also connected tp pin1 1 OBD

JBR x4010

pin3 = +12v Batt
pin22 = +12v Batt

CAS X13376

Pin1 = +12v
pin 8 = wakeup (ignition)
pin 26 = K-bus low
pin 35 = K-bus high

pin = 30 PA bus??????? connected to obd pin 7 ???

ELV

1: GND
2: CAS EL+ pin 23
3: CAS EL - pin 24
4: CAS PA-bus pin 30

--

Any help with required pins (that i have not done) would be appreciated.

John

Ok, i have a fully riunning bench setup.

Im trying to test a couple of tv video modules and i have the connected to the bench and cic (fibre and wired).

i can see the modules with uif and info (INPA) and i can code them.

But the screen on the cic says "for your safty tv/video only available when stationary".

This means that i cant see the tv output.

Any one have any ideas how to get a picture.??

Yes you need key and elv that fits the cas module. Otherwise you will not get ignition 12v

Great, thanks you
i not know elv is needed, but maybe for coding not is need ignition, right?
but i look elv emulator in ebay, a bit expensive, but i will buy.

wiring only is need power supply for CAS and JBE, Canbus wires, ELV + OBD?
will not dificult make bench

I run CAS ignition 15 on pin 1 direct to obd and bridge with pin 16. Works good for diag and key preogramming CAS3++

1x 61136913650 41pol
1x 61136906054
1x 61136913652
