I have same error with this version, reding F models with ICOM clone.

You sad HW check off, i never had that error with pshoey versions...

My pc confiquration?

Laptop : Dell letitude E6430
OS: win 10 pro
CPU : intel Core I7-3520M 2.90GHz
Memory : 16GB
HDD : SSD 1TB

Most people have this problem with SSD !!!
One guy solve this problem by update the firmware of his SSD !!!
Try to do this and write solve the problem or not.

I don't use HW mod at all, and on my laptop all working perfectly.
Problem not in standalone, but in hardware of Yours PC. HW mod allow U to run program without problemes, but don't use it on old laptops.
Use standalone from pshoey, I do not insist on using mine.
And if U use SSD, try to update the firmware too.

'not enough system resourses'

I5 2.30ghz 4gb ram no ssd

Is there any solution available other than revert to earlier ista d or new laptop?

New laptop? I think will same problem. Better install previous version - ISTA-D 4.04.12 because problem beginned from version 4.05
