Thank! but to me got free the original GT1 and laptop T30 without HDD!
I would like make the laptop only for very old cars!
I have DIS Virtual Machine! But DIS Virtual Machine not always comfort!

DIS on Virtual Machine on ma old Dell D820(Intel t7200, 4GB ram) works faster then native on IBM T30

But when you working with some car (into rheingold) and to you suitable with the old car,
i have very big desire ..... give them complect IBM T30 DIS SSS GT1...... and send away...

Same for me I have GT1, T30 and DIS+ especially for old cars the super knife...

I can upload a native Acronis Image for the T30, be patient.
Put it on a Hitachi with 7200 U/min, works much faster, even if the T30 has 2GB of RAM.

Acronis IBM T30 native Dualboot DIS V57 and SSS V41

Fist of all restore the Image to an IDE HDD with min 80GB and put the HDD in the T30

Instructions:
After boot you can choose the sytem you want boot up with the
F1 (DIS) or F2 (SSSProgman) key. Dont push Enter, because the system will lead you to the OS root with Password question!

To shut down the system in DIS go to the main screnn and push STRG-ALT and F1 together on the root windows type "shut" and the sysem will go down.

In SSS Progman go Admin, mark the SSS system in the window on the right side go to operationg condition than choose shut down. Wait for the system goes down.

For best performance buy a HITACHI 7200/rpm disc and the sytem will boot much more faster. Even with 2GB of RAM the T30 works fine.

If DIS is in the German language (It is more than some years ago, when I made this backup) I will provide a V57 ENG installer disc. Here you can burn the Image to a disc, mount it in the T30 and update the language to ENG.
