Ford focus steering assist malfunction
Just replaced the engine on my 2011 1.6 tdci yesterday with a 2014, 21000 miles engine , all went well, car started straight up, sounds sweet
only now I've got a steering assist malfunction error and orange I displaying on the dash, scanning with Wurth WOW, or Opus show no DTC other than saying assembly doesn't respond for PAS ,steering angle sensor ect can be accessed, and no power assist at all, anyone came across this before, and how do I go about trying to locate the problem, been checked all wiring connections around the rack ect., all looks well, also checked the engine bay fuses, they too are all fine also. never had this message on dash till new engine was put in, and no wiring is damaged, or anything looks untoward how do check wether its the actual rack or wiring from fuse box to the rack? |

RE: Ford focus steering assist malfunction
I've been there before。
It's a line problem。 The engine bay fuse box leads to the power pump CAN line。 |
