Yes. Thing is, I was never planning on using P. Only D to clear fault codes and maybe do a diagnostic before the car goes in to check that I don't get ripped off. The workshop manual in D is great. Topped up Dctf last week end which I would've done wrong if I didn't have D.

Only got thrust into P because I want to change battery type sweating

How about a power supply do you have one connected? Without it most definitely the car battery will die. And please do tell us of the outcome.

If the process finishes without interruption and at the end you don't receive any error messages from "P" there are good chances that everything was successful. You are not the "first and only" one who attempts this crazy job. (giving the conditions wink2)
