LFord  RE: Ford IDS 106.01 [VMware]
Hello everyone...So does anybody else have a problem with this version. It was working fine up until about a month ago. I could go online and download latest calibration files before, but now it is asking to update to IDS V108 in order to download current calibration files. The only way I can get the IDS to open is to disable the internet network connection. Otherwise it says that my IDS version is out of date and that I need to update my IDS. I tried to update but it says a message "diagnostic device failed to connect to corporate server. please try again in ten minutes"
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all

Thanks for your reply but I think I got it to work again. seems like the clock in the VMachine changed to the current real time. I had to delete the VM and reinstall it again. Thank you for your help.

RE: Ford IDS 106.01 [VMware]
Only 2017 and up will require LSID in order to get key access. Older models don't require this. There's a machine that can do 2018 models and bypasses the LSID, it looks like the same process as the older models. I have not encountered one yet because we don't do new models, only older ones. I found a very stable 101.04 vmware version and have been using it for almost 2 years. But I can't do newer models. Also, it requires you to update the VCMII software, I haven't found a stable vmware yet like the one I have. But I might try this one because jessmann007 does the same process when the date and time get changed. All I have to do is unrar, reinstall new and delete old files. Easy! smile

Anyone have a newer version of this? I only find 109 but they are being sold on ebay. I want the new 111.05 version vmware if possible. Thanks again!
