RE: Which EEPROM reader to buy
YOU NEED A REAL TOOLS WITH REAL AJUSTMENT , STAT CHANGE WITH A LOT OF FACTOR (MILEAGE - LEAKING VACCUUM OR OIL - CATALITIC RESTRICTION - OLD TURBO ...... , THE BEST WAY IS A MANUAL CALIBRATION AND AJUSTMENT ON DINO TO MAKE SURE THE TIMING , THE COMBUSTION IS NOT TOO LEAN OR RITCH. ITS NOT VERRY EXPENSIVE . SOMETHING LIKE 1000$ YOU SHOULD BE GOOOD IF YOUR CAR IS IN GOOD CONDITION

RE: Which EEPROM reader to buy
Thank you for your input, chevy but what im looking for as stated above is something to simply reed the data in order to extract a dump from an ecu or an immo unit rather than remapping and performance alteration. I guess i should have been more specific in the first place. Do you happen to have any advice about that?
