I played already with all combinations of time criteria, type key etc.

Hulahans - after this period using alpina, would you go back to stock or it is better than stock? Just your opinion.

I drove this flash now for nearly 100.000km.
Would flash that again everytime, but only with chipped car like mine, which has nearly the same torque as alpina itself.

With less power and the lower Revs,the Alpina flash make the car a bit laggy

i need some help/guidance from you.
I've tried to get alpina SW into my F25 LCI, prod date 06/16, 3.0xd/258hp but no success.

what i did:
1. added to VO/SALAPA: 920, 9XA, timecriteria unchanged(03/16), typeschlussel unchanged: WY52, i-level from shipment: 16-03-502
2. read SVT_toll from ecu
3. calculate in SVT_Target with ilevel target 17-11-540, but on EGS ECU all lines were black as there is no update.

With typeschlussel XA71, esys returned a lot of errors due to FA elements mismatch.
I've tried with an F20 typekey and I got the updates from the attached pic - which i am not sure they are related to Alpina.

Where i am mistaken?

So, if you like to flash it yourself try
WY71 if youre time criteria doesn t work use 0314 an use nearly same shipment i level id hwel is black everything is fine
swfl should be 210C as in some other models too

Makes sense what you are saying related unchipped engines and alpina SWFL.
that's why i was in doubts.

I will try just to see if with above elements from you , i will have 210C swfl but i will not program it until I will chip the engine.
Sounds like a plan for me. but i have to wait 7 months to finish my warranty and proceed with engine tuning.

But apart EGS, i havel also updates for KOMBI and PIA_MASTER 63(i assume this is the NBT ECU address) and DDE.

Does make sense to flash KOMBI and PIA_MASTER?

Flash only EGS with Alpina TAL, and be aware that in Esys vcm and msm update are not ticked.
After that, make a new tal with original VO , if Kombi and pia master still need update there you can flash them.

Am I fundamentally wrong assuming that F10/F11 535i with ZF 8HP45 can be done using Alpina B3 flash?

And what typeschlussel would you use, 3A91 or 3A96?

does anybody know correct swfl version for F30 D3? When I have tried with D5 sw, it didnt work. I guess because of the wrong CAFD. file. Can sobobody make a screenshot of SVT with succesfull flash to D3 ?

Hi guys,

I'd like to share my experiece with you for all of you who would like to also flash D5 sw on a 535xd LCI F10 or F11.

I followed the instruction and changed the type code to XA71 (535d pre Lci F10) but SVT calculation breaks. So I used 5D71 for 535d LCI F11. If you have a F10 use 5D51 instead. There is a differenc in the HKFM module between F10 and F11.

Since the 535d RWD LCI is using electrical power steering (EPS) and the xdrive does not, there was a little conflict:

I only flashed EGS (blFlash, swDelpoy, cdDelpoy) and had VCM and MSN Update unchecked in E-SYS options.

All seems to be fine. In ISTA+ I noticed that EPS has been added and does not responce (which is clear since it does not exist on Fxx xDrive models). The odd thing: I never wrote VO and ECU tree to VCM and also during falshing I disabled ECU tree update (Parameters tab on TAL processing). So I modified SVT_soll prior to calculate TAL. In SVT_Soll I clicked on EDIT and removed EPS. I ignored several errors during TAL calc.

After that I was able to successfully flash D5 software on my 535xd F11 LCI and Sailing Mode is also working.

I am wondering why the original sw takes 1 minute longer to be flashed than the D5 one. Is VTG able to handle the D5 software without problems??
