Did you set the java home variable?

Type in terminal and post the result:
java -version
MGU virgin and patching in Europa.

Run as administrator and compatibility with XP service pack 3, try it..

I had this error to. You have to install actual Java JRE 8u144

Type in Google Java JRE take first link with java.com and install it

This error looked something like vas pc if you had not installed java

I also found you CANNOT RUN in backwards compatibility mode. I don't know why. I also removed "run as administrator" Give that a go.

Are you trying to run in "compatability mode - winXP etc..." If so, try with this not selected
