May be someobe can help with this.
I have a DTC on the steereing column module ECU which says "C220500 There is an internal fault in the steering angle sensor" which Xentry cannot clear. The angle sensor is activated. Because of this, many other functions do not work (ESP, attention Assist, ECO etc).
The reference number written on the module is 212 900 8214 (Valeo) or Xentry reads the following reference from the ECU: 212 901 7100. I tried googling this later number without success.
Before changing the module, I am trying to re-flash it with an updated SW version using Vediamo.
The software reference from the ECU is 246 902 0501. Is there an updated version which i can flash into the ECU and see what happens?
The car is a 2012 C250 (W204). I can provide the VIN is necessary.

Remove and disassemble the steering angle sensor and gently clean the optical disc, with alcohol. It should fine after that.

I ended up ordering a new unit from Germany (costed around 400 Euros, transport included), installed it and now the ESP, ECO start/stop, Flat tire monitoring, cruise control etc are working fine.

I've found a part site that cost less than USD400 for the new one.
and I've found one on ebay just cost USD100, but it is a bit different, lack of speed limiter.
