RE: 5K0953569T sw0136?
My Audi Steering Control unit 8K0 953 568 F (firmware version 0013), under VCDs, it says the following:
Component: E221 - MFL H02 0003

Different control units (from different models) may have different pin layout (compared to steering wheel used) thus incompatible. So check this if you can.

However My audi is reported as A4 part number under ETKA, and I do not have A4.

Update:
ETKA 8K0953568F was deleted (and no info is found with Q5 only with A4).
This CU existed in previous years (deleted in database).
Replaced by 8K0953568G (so I made a search on this).
So it was a Q5 control unit as well as an A4, an A5 and an RS5.

It will be fun project when I install a different model steering wheel with MF and paddle shift.

RE: 5K0953569T sw0136?
Why you think that this firmware is compatible if 0140 was not and replaced firmware 0136???

I would not have flashed if there was no firmware to go back to original status. Only VCP can save a copy of control unit firmware in case you want to test a different firmware but no firmware to go back to exists.

Check with firmware 140 or your previous control unit the following:
Coding
1. 16-Steering wheel
2. Coding - 07
3. x?xxx: Steering Wheel???????????????????

Options
0 = 3-Spoke, w/o Tiptronic, w/o Multi-Function
1 = 3-Spoke, with Tiptronic, w/o Multi-Function
2 = 4-Spoke Multi-Function (with Radio Control)
3 = 4-Spoke Multi-Function (with Radio/Telephone Control)
4 = 4-Spoke Multi-Function (with Radio/Telephone/Voice Control)

or if not the above check also the one below (long coding with VCDs)

Rear Wiper (Avant/Wagon) installed
Board Computer (Driver Information System/DIS) installed
Cruise Control System (CCS) installed
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) installed
Multi-Function Steering Wheel (MFL) installed
Tiptronic installed (ONLY with Multi-Function Steering Wheel)
Lane Assistant (Vibration Motor) installed

RE: 5K0953569T sw0136?
Is there such a coding to change lin2.0Audi to VW?? how did you modify this?
Which firmware did you use? (FL_5K0953501N__0140???) or did you not update the firmware (or you installed the original firmware)?

What was the procedure?
Any screenshots??? That would nice if you could since I will also be installing a non compatible steering wheel.
Congrats.

RE: 5K0953569T sw0136?
Do you have odis procedure how to do this? I remember with odis you need to change coding manually (bytes and bits). I dont remember lin2.0A or lin2.0VW parameter. Maybe SW codings are different that the other control units codings?? Thanks

(Is it just 16 steering wheel then coding and you get this parameter change???)
